Indeed, whereas in the same paper there are guys going down for 3years+ for fraud. Proper legal system :fish:

tragic no wonder bikers get a bad name when there is people like him on the road.

14 months in jail but only a 3 month ban WTF so his ban will be up when he gets out. should have been a 3 year ban. the man is a disgrace to the biking fraternity.

banned for 3 months, is that a joke, seems like the judge should be jailed as well for being incompetent.

14 months (out in 7) 3 month ban for almost killing two people.

Should be in for a dam sight longer.
No wonder we do get a bad name if p****s like him try and outwit a 40 ton tanker

A friend of mine's 20 year old son has recently been jailed for dangerous driving - 6 months inside for his first offence, he's never even picked up a parking ticket. An unmarked car with a lone copper tried to flag him down because of his badly spaced personal plate but he kept going and went a bit quicker than the speed limit to get home at 2am thinking it was some chancer. Ten minutes before he went into court a bloke got a conditional discharge for a serious assault on his girlfriend.

Makes you wonder what's happened to this country's justice system. I'm getting more and more disillusioned by it every day.

Jesus Christ .......... he even looks like a right Charlie Hunt as well . If that was me he would be having a "Welcoming Commitee" waiting for him on the steps of the prison when he is released ........... oh and when you do get out in 14 months time and are vain enough to do a search about yourself and see this thread , I`d be more than happy to come and talk to you about this post .

Unbelievable. Was the charge correct? GBH? There is no doubt the guy would have been fully aware that this was potentially fatal. This is not knocking three sheets out of someone and putting them in hospital, he only stopped because the victim managed to get a hold of him and drag him off the bike. This guy was going to carry on until the victim died. Shouldn't he have been done for attempted murder?

He’s very lucky to still be with us and this is reflected in the sentence issued at court.

This guys a :toss: 'er too. Either he really believes the sentence is fair, or he hasn't got the guts to speak out against the system and say what he really believes.
