Im doing all the work myself, rather foolishly. I may have someone come in to TIG my frame and fuel tank though. Yeh, this is what I do, but this is more of a personal project. Still in the early stages of setting up the business. And yes, I will do my best to keep everyone up to date. I think things should start to happen a lot quicker from now on and I regularly update my blog too. |
Re: My little SV based project
Where are you based, any have you got any jobs going?
Normally shock is lengthened out to around 355mm (from 337), forks 20mm shorter approx but with less offset in triples. More rake obviously but trail not changed that drastically. I believe it comes to very similar numbers to a K4 series GSXR but would have to check that. Rides very similar anyway, nice and planted rear, not squatting and running wide or chirping and sliding. The stock rear link on curvy is pretty much linear for all travel that gets used. |
Re: My little SV based project
thats going to look rather nice when finished.

Re: My little SV based project
With the GSXR front end it pulls the front down, it make it a much more planted bike and more focused

Re: My little SV based project
That looks like it is going to be stunning, i agree with the underseat exhaust idea. Do you have any ideas of what you have planned for the engine?
Very impressed with the design stage, you must have an art based background looking at the sketches, computer work and clay. Please keep us updated, i can't wait to see the finished product. Skez |
Re: My little SV based project
