alreet,

I'll see if I'm allowed out Saturday (most likely afternoon)

Meet somewhere between Leics, Northants, Brum?

Long Itch cafe for breakfast is the usual haunt. Wouldn't mind doing some different roads this time though.

Whereabouts in Leicester are you? I go this way to get to the Long Itch http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,0.878906&z=11 and meeting me at Cold Ashby might be the most interesting route for you too.

That looks good to me! Where do we have coffee/cake/lunch half way round? Phil doesn't eat at home, he is always starving.

Google maps on my phone shows a weird route off your link chris, make sure we include the a422 to brackley, it's a good road if it isn't on there already :)

Re: Are we gonna have a rideout this year or what???

We can stop at On Yer Bike in Aylesbury for lunch if ya like or find somewhere en route in a village, I'm not bothered.

Phil I haven't included the A422 out of Stratford as it was going to take us south at the end of the day, can include it and then take the A423 back up to Long Itch?

I wasn't sure how long the ride was going to be but we have the option to head up the A361 and back again as it is a very nice road?

Alternatively I have modified the route to include both the A422 and the A361 and only adds 25 miles onto the ride.

Alternative Route: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...8&ie=UTF8&z=11

Spoken to Speedplay on the phone and he is provisionally up for this too depending on his missus, as is G. Looking good!!

Oh BTW Phil I am not trying to tread on your toes here it's your rideout, just when Ralph said different roads I thought I might share my knowledge of the area. So my routes are suggestions only.

I'm north of Leicester so would prefer Ralphs suggested route, or even more central TBH

However I've not broached the subject with the Mrs yet so pls don't make any plans on my behalf. I'll try to remember to ask her later but I've gotta work late tonight

Ralph's suggested route is just his ride to the start point at Long Itch Russ :)

My suggested route was only for you and I to get to the meeting point of the rideout, not for the rideout itself.

I don't mind meeting anywhere, or riding anywhere, but given that we are now talking Me, Mr Speirs, Rusty, G and Speedplay, all being East of the M1, maybe we should start over here somewhere

(dives in a trench before Phil starts shooting  ).
