The inlet manifold from the M50 2.5 litre engine can be fitted to the 2.8 to give more top end power but less torque low down.

Finally picked this up from the paint guy this weekend, I'm surprised how fun it is and how the power just builds.

Not a lot of clearance, I got beached today!

And at another time sat at the lights spinning my wheels going nowhere when I tried to get away swiftly! I've just turned into my own worst nightmare. I won't even mention the subwoofer that was supplied in the boot....

Tim, you've gone from the Dark Shadow of Nordschleife to a wheelspinning boy racer. It's not even black. Tut tut :)

You getting that jacked back up Tim. Tis is nice and look funny when the chavs are expecting a 20 year old at the lights

Funny though when you're following them out of the car park* or around a business park with lots of sleeping policemen.

*Yes, I'm aware it's not funny when they get completely stuck and you end up trapped behind them in the increasing queue...

Manual!

Skoda is a 2001 Skoda Octavia Estate, the top of the range Laurin and Klement version with a 150hp version of the petrol 1.8T, with leather, wood, electric windows, sunroof, cruise etc.. The car has served me well and is a great motorway cruncher, will do 40+mpg at 70mph, but is just a bit dull for me. Now I no longer do a UK-Holland commute it is time for some daily fun to sit alongside the MX5. Once the Skoda is sorted through the MOT I'll put up full details.

Whoever buys that car will love it! I had the 1.9 TDI Elegance and it was pretty fast, a 150bhp petrol version should really go quite well. L&K extras are very nice, heated seats if I'm not mistaken.
