In fairness I have met quite a lot Americans in my life and 90% of them have been really good people, probably a similar % to people I've know / known over here.
I suppose you get scum in all countries, so were no different wherever you reside.

Back in the old days on the original Xbox it used to be a great community when live started , especially on the MotoGP2 game . Sadly , with the advent of the 360 we seemed to have gained a wider audience of the obnoxious kind . I have now found that I tend to play in a party with local mates now more then ever . I actually went onto Halo 3 the other night and buddied up and sat there muted ..... I kicked some massive butt on Capture the Flag and Bomb Delivery games . Got congratulated a load of times , then I switched my Mic on and bade everyone goodnight ..... and the silence was massive , only to be broken about 5 seconds later with "your a Brit ?" ........ xXBADGERXx has left your party .

It was a great evening and I had loads of invites from those guys to play again the next day , sadly if I had even said hello before firing a round off I would have been slagged off and abused and that gives me the hump . So I sit there in silence ..... sticking rounds between eyes and leave with a pleasantly smug feeling .

I've actually found that quite often the Americans I've played with actually really like Brits and are quite decent people and really want to know about our country. It's quite amusing really. 90% of the time though I'm in party chat with people I already know which are always the best games :)
