it mounts in the same position as the Suzuki Sv top box. the reason i got rid of mine is because of where it's positioned. I found it a PITA to get on and off, having to swing my leg right up behind me and over/between myself and the box

I'm quite flexible and it would only be for "once in a blue moon" long journeys, so not a bother for me. I currently mount my tank bag there when luggage space is needed anyway.
