Re: Acf-50
I'm curious what sort of degreaser and foaming agent they use. It looks pretty easy in the movie.

Having not used the stuff before... Do you literally spray it on everything metallic, apart from what someone said -brakes, bars etc?
Spray it all over the forks? Does it matter if you get it on the plastics? Also, if I clean the bike, does it need to be re-applied? --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=51.217232,0.245087 Member of the 1 litre club... |
Re: Acf-50
It makes a fantastic back-to-black for the plastics so that's not a problem, just don't de-grease the bike or use a jet wash and it will be fine but you can re-apply if you like.
I used it on mine last year and have been told there's no way the bikes seen salt, little do they know it was only confined to the garage if it was icy or hammering it down.. In short, it works. |
Re: Acf-50
Well i went to halfords today and they don't sell ACF-50 however they do sell an alternative which is called GT-85, from what i can see they are pretty much the same thing. So i bought some for £2.85, cleaned and degreased the bike. Then sprayed the **** out of it, only time will tell i guess. I sprayed all the plastics, engine, front forks, rear shock, bar controls. Pretty much everything other than the brakes. Also makes the bike look nice and shiney :)
