Anybody on here got some celebrity-encounter tales? I've also made Pharrell wince from pain and I'm in the new James Bond next to Daniel Craig, amongst other smaller things.

So are you an extra then?

I was Robson Green's personal driver while they were filming Soldier Soldier (Bordon and Munster)
I accidently sprayed some grease on Douglas Hurd.
I nicked a cigarette from Robbie Coltrane while watching BAD NEWS on the 05/11/87 at the Hammersmith Odeon. as well as had dinner with him two years previous.

In 1985 David Bailey woke me up and polity asked me to move, so he could take a photo.
I had dinner with Al Pachino, Donald Sutherland, Annie Lennox, Nastassja Kinski, Dexter Fletcher, and Sid Owen (he was an annoying brat..) after I jumped into the River Great Ouse to rescue a small kid who fell in... while filming "Revolution" in King's Lynn.

Used to know Anthea and Wendy Turner on a friend of a friend type basis.

Found myself squared up to Vinnie Jones on the night of the 1998 World Cup final in a pub in Hemel Hempstead. Called him a w4nk3r. Him and his mates were well known for causing trouble around the pubs St Albans and Hemel in his days at Wimbledon. I was with a big group of French lads, and the French won the world cup that night. Trouble soon followed with Vinnie's crew and their Union Jack painted fingernails around.

He's human just like everyone else. Reputation is just that, reputation! If it had gone further I'd have taken my chances. The fact he squared up and it went no further tells you all you need to know really. The only one to throw a punch was one of his 'gang' who did so after 'apologising' to one of the french guys and shaking his hand so his guard was dropped. All bullies are cowards in my experience.

I've met a few famous racers but it was work related.
Rode on the track with Kevin Schwantz once. (of course he left me in a matter of seconds)and got an afternoon's worth of free 1 on 1 advice/schooling from Keith Code while waiting out a rain delay.
