I have a bearing remover that works quite well with the hub still on the car, simply remove the circlip, fit spacer over hub and drift behind the bearing, long bolt through drift/bearing/spacer and wind out the bearing. Last bearings I replaced were on a polo and took about 30mins/side

That sounds like a plan , how do you get the flange off ? .
