try wicked quotes mate, i didnt have to send anything off to them regarding my restriction. as all they said was "its a £2000 bike, regardless of the power, our payout will be the same, so it doesnt really make any odd's other than to your licence"

certificate of restriction is not a legal requirement! many garages make out it is to earn some extra cash.

yes i've heard this.. Yes my mate did need to supply any documents and insurance with MCE is dead cheap.. looking forward to getting the bike now :)

Find it cheap elsewhere, you can if you look. Even worth paying more to avoid them.

Avoid MCE!
Lexham Insurance do deal with restricted a lot. I was with them for the YBR and the first year on the SV. If your really concerned about proving restriction, dyno run with a good firm will be max £50 |

Just make sure your SV insurer doesn't class the restrictor as a modification, when you are doing your information on the comparison webistes, it asks about modifications, look & check if a restriction is listed, if it is you will have to choose it. Or give the insurer a ring to confirm.
