Well I spent a lot of money on our wedding anniversary a couple of years ago.
No physical present except for the ticket to the event. I did the same for myself this year and told my wife I didn't want any expensive presents, just token ones from my daughters would be fine. |

Personally I would say no, but we have been married for nearly 14 years so we are more aware of the cost of stuff in a time and money perspective. Can you not find something jokey like a Liverpool souvenir to remember the evening by? Or perhaps something really daft like a totally Liverpool band (Beatles perhaps) single from the second hand shop.

Cheers guys x he all excited cuz he don't know what's happening, he has instructions of what he needs to pack.
I dunno who is more excited me or him. apart from work buggerin up my plans, I now am working til 7am Fri mornin and will grab 2 hr kip before driving up. Redbull and match sticks for me But I am gonna get him summat to remember night .... good idea Mrs D J Fridge ;-) x |

Throw a few curveballs in there as well - tell him he needs a french stick, football, some fruit and his tool kit.
As for a physical present, it sounds like it will be obvious that you've put a lot of thought into it so he'll remember it for many years to come. |

Woo hoo Raddison blu is a nice hotel, just got back . Thank you mavizcap for recommending. Had s great time in Liverpool and even managed to meet up for drinks with speedy and Dave.
Ncp car park was good call, so close. Mr woozle was happy and I am now home.with my feet up chilling ;) |
