something simialr happened to me. lady cut me up at lights in kingston one way system. she was half way on my side of the road before realising what she had done (i honked to make her aware of me). shouted at her for doing it.

so now she was diagonal across two lanes and at a red light, with me in my lane slightly in front of her. when the light goes green she then decides to cut me up properly (clearly not sorry and on purpose) and continued.

at this point i was with the GF on a ride with her on her 125. was not happy one bit and tempted to either take out the ladies mirror or follow her home and do something myself. but managed to stay calm

Better that you didn't. Clearly she was angry and dealing with emotional bombs like that can have very bad side effects. Road rage gets the better of us very quickly.

Keeping this video in mind, I acted as calmly as I could. Never let the rage take over, no matter what (there's a good chance that this is a rule of Sun Tzu).

Glad nothing bad happened.

Lot's of idiots about. I had a woman in an slk swerve straight into my path on Saturday to avoid something - mud or a puddle no doubt. Wouldn't like to know exactly how close it was but my Dad was following me, stopped beside and was white as a sheet when he took his lid off. He had no idea how I was still on the bike or hadn't made some form of contact.

Given that he normally thinks I'm a wimp at filtering it must have been pretty tight.

Yeah, people are like that : very willing to escalate conflicts when they can justify their anger siphoning out onto others. It just happened that two such persons met in the video. It's very likely that you pass by people in bad emotional states every day, just looking for an excuse. When you drive a tiny motorcycle, how can you overpower a big suv? Better to stay calm and just enjoy your life and let them soak in their own anger
