Just a question - as my tensioner seems to be ticking away as well every now and then... Is there a possibility of this turning into a major disaster? I was planning to look into it sooner rather than later...

Not sure how long they should or are meant to last but as far as I know there are 2 CCT's (on my K8 650) so when mine need doing I'll probably do both at the same time.
