I'd always say have it off, no really, take the tank cover off, bike is beautiful without it.

Is it practical?
Do you use the tank bag it's designed for on a regular basis? I leave mine on my sprint for two reasons... I use my tank bag fairly regular My leathers were scratching the crap out of the sides of the tank, so the cover protects it against that. |
