Won't know till I've put them on a new wheel to see if they're actually straight.

May get some short term insurance on the SV and keep it for a bit until this is sorted.

Do it!!!!!!!!!!!:smt040

find a pot hole, get the mrs to ring up the council and report it, ride into pot hole, ring council to complain and sue.

Take them down to Maidstone and get Motoliner to have a look at it all.

They will tell you if they are bent and will repair if they can.

Cost me £85 to get the front wheel and bars straightened for the Zed after me chucking it down the road and using it as a pin-ball with a traffic island and the pavement.

Bit of a trek for me SoulKiss but good shout anyway. Once i've confirmed it's the wheel that's the problem, I'll see if I can find someone closer who may be able to straighten it. I can get a replacement wheel for £120 second hand though, so keeping that as an option.

@Ad - I would be tempted to try that if I thought it'd work, especially since they already owe me for a car windscreen!

You have no guarantees with a 2nd hand wheel (if eBay sourced)

Its not that far, hit the M25 then M20 and its just off the motorway
