Most important, smells lovely :)

There's nout like the first start up after a good dousing. Sitting there on the driveway, surrounded by an ever densifying smog of evaporating ACF50, high as a kite but with totally corrosion resistant lungs.

Ach mine have been bitumen undersealed anyway but a bit more doesn't do any harm!

Good man. 15 years of smoking fags gives me my protective tar base layer. Hidden health benefits the doctors don't want you to know.

Haha, nice!

I assume that it's safe to coat the entire fork assembly in this stuff then? It won't affect seals or operation once it's dried?

Re: ACF50 application

I don't know if it'll damage the seals, but there's no point ACF50ing the shiney bit imo just in case. You need to keep that fairly clean anyway to prolong the life of your seals so there's no point ACF50ing something you're gonna be wiping down.

It can stop the salt from sticking as well to the stanchions.

Fork lowers yea just keep it off the tyres and brakes*!!

*I mean it. Really don't.
