How many miles? What sort of riding? How many miles on the engine?

Oil change not sure I've only had the bike four a couple of months and I can't imagine the dealer I brought it from changed it could be rong though. I filled the oil up to the f mark from near enough empty on the sight glass about 2weeks ago. Thanks for the heads up on that road :cheers:

Both those tolerances seem a little excessive to me, since the F to L range on my gixxer is 300ml. Assuming the SV is similar, you'd be topping up very regularly to prevent starvation. My curvy was 28k miles and needed topping up from halfway between F and L every 2k miles I'd say. The gixxer on the other hand canes it at 1ml/mile so needs topping up every couple of rides. I would not expect that rate from a new bike!

That's what me thinks. It isn't a new new bike it's a k9 and done 25000 miles isshh and pretty hard riding.
