If you do fit modded indicators etc. be sure to inform your insurers. My mate is currently in dispute with his insurers, they don't want to cough up because of not being informed about mods like this.

I had a look into them a while back and came to the conclusion that it just wasn't worth it for the risk really, especially at the back I want my indicators to be as visible as possible as well as the brake light.

Personally, I think the flush indy's aren't that safe IMO.

The previous owner fitted both the front and rear sets but I got quite uncomfortable with them so I replaced both with small indys that look nice and are very visible.

Wow , thanks for all the sensible advice everyone. Alot to think about.

I'm not quite sure what people mean about flush mount rear indicators ? does that mean no stalks , or does it mean cutting into the cowl ?

no , i mean on the rear ? The way i took what was written above was that people had the flush kind on the rear... Thanks for the picture though.

ok ill post a pic of a sv tail piece with built in "oh I can't see em" ind ys.
should unload that to lee . I'm sure he can use it.

That looks a bit small for me. thanks for explaining that, i am going to get the flush front ones, maybe save up for the mirror ones. just going to get some slightly shorter ones for the back.
