Re: Rockingham Sunday 22nd
I popped over about 4pm for half an hour, looks like it was a good day, very busy, saw a few bikes being carried away on the fork lift.

Re: Rockingham Sunday 22nd
There were a lot of Red Flags yesterday. I know accidents will happen but I could have smacked the muppet who binned his bike on the 2nd corner after the sighting lap!!
It was a really well run day all in all. Had a moment of panic when one of the brake calliper bolts snapped on me, 10 mins before the first session of the day. Having changed brake pads the day before I thought I'd just give the bolts a nip to double check and snap!!! I decided to ignore Wideboys advise to go on track and see what will happen with one bolt and got support from the support team there Parkitt Racing. They sorted it with minutes to spare. There's not much better than tearing round that triple left hander in the sunshine with hot tyres, loads of grip and a few people on track slow enough to overtake. :-) |

That wasn't my advice, I didn't say that!
I counted 6 crashes by lunch I think. Then after lunch there were 1 inters, 2 fast and 2 in novice. Understandably the instructors had a go at everyone, perfect conditions with nothing on the track. |
