You said it yourself, smaller resale value. It doesn't matter what you have spent on the sv it is only worth sv money. Fix the ER6 up and flog it for a profit.

All jokes aside, think I'll stick with the SV as it is exactly how I want it now and something I can take pride in.

The ER6 is a nice bike but apparently suffers from pretty appalling suspension and many of you have suggested the V-twin is pokier than the parallel. Likely won't get a chance to ride both due to insurance but I'll see if I can get it to an industrial estate to have a blip.

At the price I got it at, I don't think I need to worry about losing money despite it being a Cat D, and will likely be a money maker especially as the OE part from Kawki is pretty cheap.
