1978, the rubber bumper model. Burgundy, 1.8L with black leather interior and overdrive.

Replaced the Cylinder head a few years ago and converted her to Unleaded. Mechanically she's as sound as a pound, but the old girl's body's going a bit. Sat in the garage for the past 18 months being done up bit by bit (as my limited skill allows).

Still waiting for that lottery win that'll let me put her into a Heritage Garage to be completely gone over... and buy a Speed Triple as well.

Got a 4x4 to keep me going in the mean time and the bike for purest pleasure. I seem to collect vehicles - no wonder I'm always so poor! :roll: :oops:

Same as mine too! Started first turn of the key after being sat on my Mum's drive for nearly 2 years. All she needed was a new battery & a tap on the fuel pup to free it up!! :shock: :D Haven't done the unleaded head yet - the cost is a bit prohibitive so far & I'm happy putting in th Castrol stuff when I fill up!

Hmmm - I'm always poor & I haven't started doing the work that needs doing on her yet... Doesn't bode well, does it!!!?
