As for an update,

Spoke to Knox today to ask them if they received the bag. They have, they said they have sent a replacement inthepost today, with a covering letter, I won't know what it says until I get home, keep yers posted!

Update: Got home last night to a "Brand New" Knox Aero bag, and a covering note, giving me back my postage (cheque), and the a lengthy letter giving me their total buying confidence in the fact that the bag come highly recommended, and they improve things rapidly..and so on...

Anyway, at the end of the letter they have offered me 25% off any next purchase from Knox.
That means I have to buy something to the tune of £300 to make back the money I paid out for the boots that were in the bag, that are now wrecked! :x

Stiil not happy - going to phone them this morning

Update today:

Had a reply from one of the Directors of Knox this morning.

Basically they cannot afford to cover the cost of replacing the goods that were in the bag at the time, and have offered me a free purchase of anything up the value of £15.
Or I take up the original offer of 25% any item.

I can't say I'm totally pleased with the outcome, but will reply anyway regardless, and lay this one to rest, we all live n learn. :roll:

I'll probably take up the offer of the 25% off and buy some kit. :roll:

I'll put this one down to experience, and see if this new bag tears, if it does, the **** will definately be hitting the fan!

My boots get soaked pretty much all the time, just dry them out in the airing cupboard.

They were the "CAT" boots. Id' put them in the bag as I was going to footy, and placed all my clothes in the bag, and put my boots on top. :roll:

Cost me about 70 quid I think or there abouts, it's like really funny leather or hide on them at the front, and the water had just soaked them through, when I let them dry out they had what looked like black patches on the top foot part, looked as though I had ridden over them or summat, I'd only had them a week :shock:
