have you tried bump starting the bike? That should rule out any problems with the CDI unit. Have you tried to wire the starter directly to the battery to see if it is working? Does the relay click when you press the starter? If not its either the IMMO or the relay is stuffed or your starter circuit is damaged somewhere.

just a thought but could it be either the switch in the clutch or the sidestand? I dunno about old curvy ones but the sexy pointy ones sat "chec" on the dash if either of these things is not sorted.properly(pulled in for clutch or up for sidestand)..

Suzuki GB & Trading Standards would be my next ports of call, without a shadow of doubt :!: Tossers

always hellishly expensive and the woman there seems to rule the roost and is never helpful!

What happens if you short out the two connectors on the main relay/fuse thingy that sits under the front rightof the sub frame? I had exactly this problem and it turne dout to be a faulty relay. If shorting out these connectors makes the bike turn over (as it did on mine) then that's your problem.

i'd would definaly take it up with trading standards, i'm sure that they cannot do things like that

which dealer was it?

Yes it was SINGLE TRACKER in crewe and i have contact suzuki GB this morning......

And they dont want to know :!: :!:  the actual words from a girl called kerry and a bloke called paulo (i called twice, once to the help line and then to main office but the calls go through the same call centre  ) was that suzuki GB have no control over how their dealerships provide a service :!:

i said "what even if they are bringing suzuki's name into disripute" and they said that they are not able to do anything  "if there is a problem then i have to take this up with the garage and suzuki are not willing and will not get involved"

Now this has shocked me

Seeing as you can't ride it anyway, I would have refused to have it back like that and gone straight to trading standards. I assume that you did not actually pay them anything :?:

 no stupidly i was like a rabbit caught in head lights i paid for it and got out.... i was actually stunned when i got home, thats when it sunk in what had or hadn't just happened..... i just wish i had paid by credit card instead of debit card #-o
