It is one of those matters, where really there is no ideal pressure. Far too many variables. If everyone wanted to run the "ideal" pressure, it would be different for everyone.

It's interesting to read that article, and in most places echo's what I said I think. I won't pretend to be a tyre expert by any means, but the advice given to me was from a tyre advisor from one of the biggest tyre wholesalers in the country, he does know his tyres inside out.

I'll be running 36/42 as its what's reccomended, and doesn't feel any different to 33/36. On the track I usually drop the front to 33, and the rear to about 37. Might experiment a bit on the next track-day to see if I can notice any difference.

I'm running them on 35/38 which I also did for the 020s. Seems fine to me and turns in a little more gradually.

Do you not find that having the front over 33PSI makes it very "skitish" on uneven surfaces? Maybe it's just me that's skitish

Nope seemed fine to me...and some of the road surfaces we covered yesterday were far from good quality and reason enough for the tyres to be skittish.
They were good all day. :D

It feels reasonably planted to me and I tend to avoid leaning it over on bad surfaces, but I'd rather have it slightly nervous with a more gradual and even turn in than the other way round. All a question of personal preference I'd say. 3psi either way isn't going to make a lot of difference to the tyre's abilities. Try it and see, takes seconds to let a little air out if it's not for you.

The coti book, and i checked this today, recomned 36/42!

I had these fitted today, and done about 30 miles or so on them, and i hate em. It feels like im running with a flat tyre it really does. Its a struggle to get the damn thing to turn. Im gonna check the bike over tomorrow before i go out and play, cause what you lot are saying, it shouldnt be like this, and im worried.

So, i am hoping that its something i have done, or something wrong with the bike that can be fixed easily :?

Well I can't comment - I came to the road attack from the stock d220's so quite frankly little couldn be worse. Someone with experience of 020 ==> RA's will be along shortly lol...

At the end of the day, i know that they shouldnt feel like this, and is why i am worried. I spoke to SidSquid this evening who done the same progression, and hes of the opinion, that something aint quiet right. which is worrying. Shin has the same tyres and bike, so im gonna jump on hi tomorrow(He dont know this yet) and see if they are different!
