c*ck  (Clarkson that is )

He is one of those but not because of those comments. Purely said to get a bite and bite you lot did by complaining.

I personally jsut hate his ego. And the fact that he takes ten minutes to finish a sentence. Such a monotone voice. Could send me to sleep.

What was that lassie talking about, 0-60 in less than 2.5secs on that zzr-1400 machine. What a load of gumph that statistic is. I'd love to see someone be able to do it that quick with no modifications done.

As a few have said, it's good to see bikes on a car show. They did dwell on the retro stuff and Chaz Boreman a bit much.

The content of the story was nonsense! What was new? A few brief seconds of the new R6, pictures of the Paul Smart Replica Ducati (that was first shown at LAST years show) and a few heavily customised choppers! If that was the best they could offer from the show then they shouldn't have bothered. If they want to please motorcyclists then give us our own programme.

Dissagree. If they want to please bikers (which I doubt), then get some propper bike coverage, by biker who know what they are talking about.

The trouble with Clarkson's comments is that, whilst he may be joking/winding up, many drivers are so stupid that they will believe that Clarkson is right and that bikers are to be derided, and run off the roads.

Clarkscum is a tosser of the worst sort, and so are the producers that allow him to get away with it

So you don't want our own motorcycle programme? :?

Cos that's what I want, not a couple of minutes in the middle of some car programme, presented by some "famous biker"!

top gear used to have Steve Berry doing his slot some years back..

Terrestrial TV is crying out for a motorbike show. Id be interested to know what the potential viewing figures would be - how many people in the UK are bikers?

Not really, because no car drivers would watch it.
However, if you put a bike slot in a car program, then you have a change of getting bike messages into car drivers, and car drivers are the cause of many bikers' problems.

If they would then produce a decent bike prog _as well,_ then OK.

I would have thought that due to the number of bike owners in the UK then some kind of magazine programme would be justified? However it is very unlikely to get the actual viewing stats required to make it feasible for any network I am afraid.

I would strongly suggest that some kind of bike awareness slots should be inserted in programmes like Top Gear though, after all it is that audience that need to be more aware of the biking community and what their shoddy driving practices can cause. 8)
