how do you manage to keep it up that high, if i've worked it out right, maybe i just rev it too much

I reckon its easy... I get 50 mpg with Super Unleaded running at 6-7000 rpm (80-95mph? in top) in all gears. You drop it down to 5-6000rpm (65-80 mph? top) and you'll get very close to 60, maybe more. Just don't gun it every where... Tuck in... I don't ride softly and tend to gun it from the lights and I'm still getting 50mpg.

I got about 85 mpg when I just got back on after a 3 month wait after highsiding, I was riding lieka right girl. It's now down to a healthy 34mpg at worst, to about 58 when commuting/not riding like a **** head.

I only get abou 40 mpg at best, and I keep it to about 4-6k revs. But I have a restricted ECU in, and though it shouldn't, I hear it can kill your fuel economy. I mean, my dad's sv1000s gets 40mpg.

My mate once borrowed my thou, and he said it's thirsty at 30mpg. I can average 39-45mpg. Then again, my mate rides likes like a loony, and likes to cane a bike  I don't ride like a lunatic escaping from a mental asylum...

Your MPG depends on how you ride the bike. If I'm the mood, and the weather is nice, then I average 36mpg on the thou

Dunno, when the light comes on, I fill up. Normally done about 130 miles from a tank full. I'm sure someone will work it out for me.
