I bought a a light from hein gerick it is small & simple to fit but the light it produces is poor, but it is sold as a licence plate light, so.

I have done the DIY undertray mod to my bike. I simply fitted 2 superbright clear LEDs to shine down on the numberplate. I used http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...bevel&doy=19m4 to mount the LEDs, these Bezels mean that it directs the led down and you can’t see it from 90deg/side on. So should conform to the law (my bike passed an MOT fine with these fitted).

Here is the LEDs I used http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...11197&doy=19m4 You also need to solder some 360 ohm resisters inline to make the LEDs work with 12v system as they are designed to operate at 3.2v (resistors are also available from Maplin). See I have done all the hard work for you!! :D

All in should only cost you about £3 … I love Maplin :)
