That wheelspin procuct is 25 quid at Busters (yeah i know stay away) and M&P and that sounds a better price to me especially as i will lube the chain a lot more if i dont have to get the bike on a paddock stand everytime

http://www.bikelift.com/tommy_jack.htm

Found this bike lift called the Tommy Jack and it is same price as the Wheelspin and now have to decide which one to go for. Anyone see any pros or cons on either? Looks to me like the Tommy Jack will be better as there is no resistance to the rear wheel spinning

Well I heard a great tip that might keep your chain a little longer. Use a nice thin oil for lubricating it and then use chain wax to seal it in. Apparently that is the real purpose for this chain wax. I used chain wax all teh time but my chain always looked a bit dry and had a few tight spots. After using the above method my chain always lasted a little longer and looked better once I'd cleaned it up.

i think you are correct.

you really think that when you get your bike serviced, they apply a "good oil" ?
my dealer uses this method, old engine oil and a tiny bit of cheap wax to seal in the oil.
