Aint it odd - yesterday i nearly hit two people in one trip home

Firstly - one of those massive groups of kids were crossing at Borough - one of them threw something at me - hit me on the helmet - could have gone in my face , anywhere - so i stopped the bike, got off, marched up to him and thumped him. His teacher got involved etc but i couldnt as i had leftthe bike running....., just before elephant, a cyclist called me a name ! we had words...etc

tow in one trip, hasnt happened to me ever before ....totally unrelated as well...oh well

The driver of the car next to me just looked at me & said, "nice bike". The light turned green & I rode off grinning & suitably bigged up, into the distance (50 metres - next traffic light).

Made my night.

When you pull up at the lights and you get the glance and smile, it makes you feel real good...

(Just don't miss 2nd gear when pulling away and rev the nuts off her!!.. )

I *may* have got carried away & revved the engine to demonstrate how cool I'm not!

But the other kind can be so much more fun... :D

My ride in this morning wasn't bad. Nearly ran over two pedestrians as well. They were two asian women who crossed at a green light (& red man) right in front of me without looking. I was only a few yards away and approaching at 30mph. They screamed when I hit the horn. Hopefully I scared them enough to make them think twice and look when the cross roads in future.

Riding in hasnt been too bad.......its the white van toerag who lost patience trying to go round a parked car and went into my lane forcing me to stop. I start to give him some 'advice' about his blatant disregard for the highway code and he does no more than spits in my face and drives off....

If only I was a foot taller and built like He-Man...............grrrrrrrrr

I'm just back from a wquick dash to the shops on my lunch, which was also pretty good. Did get disasterously cut up twice, but both times I saw it coming so it was fine... Sometimes, everything just clicks.

Mine sucked. The lift to our car park broke at about 5:30 yesterday.Waited for the engineer - too long. Tube home and Tube in this morning. I really hate the Tube.

Mine involed borrowing a foot pump from next door to reinflate my flat tyre, a slowish ride to shop to get it fixed and MOT'd.
A pleasant chat with a cute girl waiting for her MOT and then a brisk ride as far as St Johsn Wood where the police had tape around a car that had taken out 2 bikes by the look of it.

Kind put a downer on the rest of the ride in tbh. :(

But the ride in on Tuesday was fab. Has a game of cat and mouse with a nutter on a naked Busa from the bottom of my road all the way to work.

We had a chance to stop and have a giggle about it a Baker street for all of about 15 seconds before we were off again.

Now this spanking Claire, will you be in or out of your leathers at the time? ;)
