I am about a 40 ish and it is a tad loose on me. I would say that it will fit 42/44 easily enough.
Pop into HG and try one, then you will know how it fits, I think there is one up near John Street market (If I remeber the area)

Looks like it will have to be E Bay tomorrow then. If anybody is thinking about it and needs to try one on at HG let me know and I will hold off the E Bay route.
