Ah ok, never had to do that. Usually carry spare clothes and wear crappy issue uniforms made out of fabric that will outlast radioactive waste.

I can fully recommend Rukka trousers. They do cost a bit compared to other trousers but you get what you pay for. Excellent armour, fully waterproof and a thermal lining that you can take out for warmer weather.

I always wear trousers underneath them and I do find them very comfortable. I've also road tested them and they have saved my knees on more than one occasion.

I've got rukka trousers and they are great, except that you can't put them on without taking your boots off first.

My Hein G's seem rather nice... though I've only had them a month so not fully tested.

I saw a couple of HG pairs that looked really good, but apparently my knees are in the wrong place...

If you get somebody called Grommet trying to sell you trousers be very wary :lol:

You have a pair, so i wont tell you to saty away from Richa Moonsoon trousers. I have had 2 pair and they where/are both crap.

on your elbows?

Seem fine for me and I'm a short ****... I like the guaranteed waterproof... just need to get a jacket the same.
