I was foolishly hoping that you devised some great plans for fitting it to a faired SV.

Ha ha...No. Can't imagine it would be THAT hard though to mount it. But you'd have problems making it look nice since the faired sv has a 'dashboard'.

Gaffer tape. Or I could make you a rubbish fibreglass thing that'd probably crack after 500 miles :) But SV clocks work well, if you want extra bits you could add a Veypor and keep the standard instrumentation.

Updated with more pictures from this today's adventures.

GET IT LOWER

That is all :) Looks rather good, that.

instigator 20-12-06 07:24 PM

I know. :(

Don't know how to yet, don't really have facilities to weld stuff to make a decent bracket. I'll manage 'something'.

OK, how about this. I'll make some cool carbon fiber mounts for you and you help me get one of these here in the US? :P

Instigator,
I'm serious, you know. Let me know your address and I'll make you a cool mounting set up.
I'm thinking a nice little angled carbon piece that lowers the dash assembly. Once I get mine and can be sure of the fitment, I'll make you the mount - we can talk final design so you'll get just what you want.
PM me and let's wok out the details?
Thanks and have a merry & happy.

Chris

If you prefer to DIY it, go to a big B&Q and check out the alumnium strips and sheets they have there... Loads of things to suit all projects :)
