Grinch- yea from B &Q- a bigger one though- they have loads all sealed in plastic.. cost about £8 .. and there will be enough left over for me to make saddle shutters too.

few pics.. not too many- ha ha ..

just finished cleaning up the undertray then primed and painted it.

made my own bracket for the numberplate out of a cheap tool hangard from fcus.. and then cut a strip of the spare undertray metal that was leftover and bent and drilled the ends for the indis.. and holes in line with the holes onthe numb plate holder.. so the plastic number plate bolts hold it all together

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/Image007.jpg

bottom pic.. larger holes- the numb plate bracket slides in through there and the long hoks are then layed flat on the reverse of the undertray .. these have holes in them down which are fed LED lights fo the plate.. . the LED's feed up from below and the locking nut for these also acts as a lock nut for keeping the number plate bracket in place. (all nuts blue locktite)

as per below-- ... small holes line up with the holes in the "arms" of the number P bracket that feed back through.. the the LED pushes fronthe undertray side through tthe tray and through the holes in the numb P bracket and locks down with the nut above- under the seat.

just lots of time and lots of tea.. and sitting thinking and planning..

and the odd nip in here to check out the site and the way others have done it..

tomoz.. should get it all double checked .. and the indis on.. will do them all neatly and hide the wires.. feed the wires up through the back of the number plate bracket holes and small zip tie them to the down brackets so they arent visible.. .. that is the plan..

the LED's just simply keep the orig wire that fed the number plate light- twist the same 2 colurs together off the 2 LEDs and then crimp onto the orig wire.(shortening the wire of course as there is looooaddsss of it.!
