Re: Tank protector removal
Women eh? Wouldn't you think life was too short to worry about towels smelling of wd40 or favourite mugs stinking of petrol?
Who can figure them out? |
Re: Tank protector removal
If they might possibly notice the patch of burnt grass where you disposed of the towel, acquire a plane and a large bomb, take off and nuke the entire area from a great height.

Yes, but I do believe Corporal Hicks is in charge.

Re: Tank protector removal
Will WD40 also be ok to use on a screen even though it is plastic?
I've got some nasty residues from trackday stickers there. |
Re: Tank protector removal
WD-40 is good for everything except brakes and tyres, as for tank pads i just pulled mine off no problems.

Re: Tank protector removal
Will give it a go after the Moto GP, and finally silicon grease up my front plug.

Re: Tank protector removal
Yep the WD-40 (or Tesco's Maintenance spray, it looks, smells and tastes the same) worked a treat on the screen. Couldn't be bothered doing the silicon grease as would mean easing the fairing sidepanels away and hinging the fron Rad, that can wait for another day.
