Re: My Bullet Cam solution
For whatever reason (probably codec) I can't view it. But if it's is as good as you say it is (and you're not one to talk rubbish from what I know of you) then this could be a great solution. After going to the ring I really wanted to get a bike cam but didn't want to spend £200 only to be dissapointed. There are lots of options on ebay etc but you never really know what you are getting, so thanks for posting this solution.

Ahhh paused the video and allowed the download to complete, much smoother. Sound now relates to the picture to.

Re: My Bullet Cam solution
There are other JXD's on ebay, with less internal memory, but the rest of the features are pretty much the same.
Last night I was busy rigging a charging circuit up for the job lot. Take 12v from the battery, pass it through a home made rectifier (zener diode & resistor setup properly), this will then charge the bullet cam battery. 800mA to charge this. Take the supply from the rectifier, stick a 10ohm resistor in, steps it down to 5v, and this charges the recorder. 1.5A to charge, so stick a 5A fuse (10W wire wound resistor) before the job lot. Nifty. |

Re: My Bullet Cam solution
Bearing in mind it was me that raised this originally, I am VERY interested to see the quality of this solid state device ... the only way is to have the original file, please upload the original file in the original format to www.sharebigfile.com its a bit clunky, but it will let you put the original there as a file, no recompression/changes at all ..
The V-mate sucks as it eats too much memory and the MP4 format is hard to convert/edit. My Goodmans HD thingy suffers from shock … I’d like a solid state one … yours sounds ideal … Oh and does PSP have AV in then?? |

The PSP doesn't have AV in as such, but you can get a dedicated PSP camera, sort of like a Webcam for it. Check the "Ram mount" thread for where SoulKiss has hidden his video. I'll plug the recorder in to this machine & upload to sharebigfile.com for you in a few mins, I'll link to it in this thread when it's done uploading. |
Re: My Bullet Cam solution
There we go. Uploaded original file to here.

Re: My Bullet Cam solution
Looks good, I'm trying to find a way of doing on bike video on a (small) budget. I've got one of these but its AV out and I don't know if I can get it on my computer, I've heard you can plug them into a normal video cam with AV in socket but I don't have one and would like it on the computer, has anyone managed this?
