It just aint a real touring bike. There is no long distance comfort on the bloody thing. I have only found out by doing some long distance rides and it bloody killed me.

Heh have the same, I bought riser bars and a double bouble to try and help but I still get sore wrists, massive windblast and a numb bumb :s

Great for short blasts though.

I wish I could afford 2 bikes. The money I would have lost made me cry.

Anyway I am looking at getting the bagster seater to try and help with the numb **** syndrome. If you seem my other tread I am trying to get some info on it.

Anyway bike goes in on Friday for front and rear shock suspension upgrades.

Have done London to Aberdeen and back again (1300 miles) in a weekend on my SV

And thats a totally stock bike.

Hmm that is a long way. My best effort was N.Wales and back in a day, ~400 miles. I could have gone further and with breaks distances are do-able on an SV. But it's never a bike you'll just ride and ride only stopping for fuel.
