its a nice bike I hope you enjoy it...

I most certainly am enjoying it and it's only been 1 day so far...

Just to give you an idea I am 5'10" with an inside leg of 31" and can only flat foot on one side with my ar$e to one side...I am finding it a little tricky to manually move on my feet and where I would have been fine on the SV have had to get off and push...but the suspension is new and needs bedding in yet....plus if necessary the forks can be risen in the yokes by 10mm with no issues so long as the rear is adjusted to match...

I had initially thought the bike would be too tall, as I sat on a new unriden bike at first at the stealership, but the week after when I went back the bike had done 100 or so miles and fitted me better, then I did the test ride with softened off suspension and was sold....I also asked on the KTM forums about adjustments and what others have done to cope and there are 28" inside leggers on SM's with some adaption so it's certainly an option for the stumpy legged of us :)

Let us know what king of tank range you get, and the general life with the bike :)

I'll start a thread on the bike soon once I have a proper initial take on it

You have to understand though that I don't have much to compare to, I only passed my test last year and had the SV until now.....I can certainly explain the pros and cons as I see them though.

Right now all I can say is I love the height I have in the seat, the visibility really helps and inspires confidence! The brakes and suspension help with that too!! And the overtakes feel greaaaaaaaaaaaat!

Anyway, look out for a new review thread in a few days, by the weekend at the latest.

Tuono has an 18 ltr tank with 4 ltrs reserve.

Should get about 30-38 mpg

Motorway full tank to dry should be about 150 miles

Bombing around to dry should be about 120.

Not great but ok for me.

Well in Milton Keynesost of our roads are 70 for 1/2 mile then a roundabout so I get at the mo about 31.84 mpg on motorway I'm hoping it will go up to 38 mpg, so basically £10 gets me 50 miles if hammering it I can get 60 if riding slower.

Me thinks you're "enjoying" your bike 100% of the time ;)

Yeah but you should have 30ish to the reserve, but they seem to be all around the 80-100 mark on A & B roads and around 120-140 on M roads pending on how you ride it.

I've started a thread on my impressions of the SMT here (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?p=2519446), I'll try and post there when anything interesting about the bike is worth mentioning
