Can't you find used bits.

The answer to that is in the line you quoted. 'RARE' motorcycle. Ive got the insurance assessor coming out on Monday. It won't be the first to be written off when they see how much a radiator costs. They don't have a good history of repairing well.

I remember you had this problem before and the staggering cost of OEM replacements, even if you can get one.

If yours can't be repaired by this company then get a copy made by them, not only will it be as good if not better, it'll be much cheaper!

I read about them in Practical Sports bike

It'd be a shame to lose your lovely Raptor, just because of this problem

Thanks very much for that link Mav, I've bookmarked it. They don't seem too scared with curved radiators!
It can go with the parts list for discussion with the assessor.
I'm not going to lose the bike, its at home, sulking. It would be exceptionally easy to replace parts if it was a common bike, but the V, especially the silver is hard to find. Where theres a will there is a way.....and that is why I've got an insurer coming out, and why I'm taking advantage of being fully comp with pennies as an excess. ;)

My turn:
People whose word cannot be trusted:
Agreed to buy a scooter ( I know, the shame ) from a bloke in Austria.
Went quiet for a few days, so tried his phone.
Left message saying could he reply to my email and next day he emailed me saying he had sold it the day before ( 2 weeks after my 'deal' ) to a collector who already had 80 scoots!
A pox on him!
Then day before GM agreed to buy a Norton 650SS.
Happy bunny all weekend until pal rang last night to say it had been sold to someone else!
A double pox on him!

Whats wrong with people? Lack of accountability for their actions, and lack of honour or values.

In todays society its either "look what you made me do" or "its someone elses fault"

Escalating problem i am afraid.

In total agreement. People just haven't any honour or principles anymore. The I'm alright Jack, I couldn't give a monkeys how wrong it is and you feel about it.

However, there are some wee gems out there. Not everyone are just interested in themselves.
