Abso-blinkin-lutely !!!!! And all the best to you sir, for stepping up and taking it on. If the timing was better for me, I probably would turn up, ITS A GM !!!!

As for riding from D&G to Portsmouth on anything other than a suitable bike !!! Nae feckin chance. Hate motorways and doing it on a XT or a Gixxer would be hell. Thinking I'll chop the KTM in for something a bit bigger and Tiger'ish type in a couple of years, comfy on the motorway and fun when you get there, then maybe go abroad, portugal or spain. Couple of years away yet.

Again, I tug my forelock to you and wish you all the best trying to herd that bunch of cats !!!! :smt005

I do, but not much fun on the twisties of portugal / spain. Plus the missus is stuck on the pillion, so no fun on twisties allowed :smt064

Good man for organising it... I love it up there. Besides it sort of fits in better with the 'Glencoe' part of 'GM' than other places ;)

Booked.

Thanks for organising this, hopefully we will be coming up again. Need a bit of a 'life planning' session with the missus to make sure holidays can be booked etc before we book though.

Would be great to see you both Mike.

I'm just having the conversation with Sandrine over whether she is coming. Spolit her rotten for Valentines morning really got in the good books, left it an hour, then told her the dates of the GM (the 10th Sept is our wedding anniversary)!

She's decided she's not coming (doesn't like pillion that much anymore) so I said, "Well you don't mind me going on our wedding anniversary do you", she said "No, no, it's fine, you go, we'll have loads of wedding anniversaries".........Result! :smt077

It's our first wedding anniversary that week. So Pegasus thought we should spend it doing what we like doing best.

Riding our bikes! :-D

I can't say anything I spent my first wedding anniversary with Combatfred and Blueflame watching Portsmouth disappear over the horizon. So romantic :)

I'm not going to be able to make it. I'm on-call that weekend and no way to get it changed. Bummer, I wanted to get back into making this an annual trip for us.-
