Nev, I'm sure you will be more than welcome to stick around ... after all, Hovis is still around ;-) (no offence Hovis! :D)

I actually considered the ER6 for my first bike, but then I thought, "I can actually get MORE BIKE/FUN for my money by buying an SV", plus the ER6 had only just come onto the market and being a complete newbie (this time last year) I didn't wanna buy a brand new shiny bike and then drop it like a duffer.

Thankfully, I haven't dropped the SV ... just thrown it down the road a few times :oops:

The ER6 got some great write-ups Nev and I'm sure you'll enjoy it ;-)

You will find the mirrors suck - don't even try adjusting them, it wont work. I fitted a pair of handlebar ones as per the naked, problem solved.
You may get an odd buzzing vibrating from the fairing at certain RPM`s. Common, and easily solved. Finally, changing the can is a 10 minute job, and worth every penny.
