check out Screwfix. got me a compressor, spray gun, tyre gauge and a few other bits for about £80. Not a professional setup but certainly good enough for the odd spray job like this.

Yeah, I did my respray with a £60 SIP off ebay and a £30 Siegen gun... According to most of the experts on the internet you can't shoot paint with a small compressor- you just can't run the gun constantly, but you don't need to with a normal gun and a small panel. I did all the primer with a 10 litre 6cfm thing from B&Q that was my brothers, it was built for running a staplegun I think. Worked fine til it blew up ;)
