When are you going to get the race bike fixed and get out on a trackday? I have been keen to get onto another trackday soon (weather is great) so could make sure we go on the same one if you like :) |

Back to the thread title - job with motorbikes for you
There is clearly only one answer Traffic cop & get on bikes as much as you are able. I didn't realise outrider was a specific job, thought they used traffic, or is it SEG? Think I would prefer general traffic than SEG (more variety) As above & with your history mechanic is out of the question & traffic has got to pay & be much better than courier :???: And what do you mean "Blue light riding/driving ain't about being fast," surely they have to be the fastest on the road :???: from point A to point B |

OK maybe not Ghost rider
But do they not get their man in the end? :???: example, I was chased by Police twice. Once at least a mile along Embankment by a cop car & they had to get in their car first. Second time by a bike for at least 4 miles on the A3 from 30 limit through 40 and to 50 and he had to turn around first. Both times they caught me ergo, they get to drive/ride faster than me when they do their job compared to me doing my job (well commuting to/from). |

Paramedic?
I don't actually think their is anything that a) pays and b) would not take all the fun and interest away from biking - main one for me would be having to ride in ****ty weather. Probably being a bit thick here, but if you are plod (or nearly plod?) then traffic would seem to be a natural choice - at least until the novelty wears off........but if you wanna use yer brain to the max I am sure even plod have specialities that would be suitable.....and even some stuff that could later be applied outside the Public sector once you have qualified up and have experiance.....ain't gonna say "Interesting" for the next 20 years, but........ |
