You joke. But I've helped on oldie out, who had no children. It was such a sad sight.

Her house was so dirty it was full of maggots, it was disgusting! But she wasn't deemed worthy to have a place in a home even though she was as good as blind :( If it wasn't for helpers she would have died in this cesspit and no one would have known.

We treat our elderly like such **** in this country, it's despicable.

I was brought up by my father & grandparents & lived with them from the age of 9/21 so i know what it can be like.

My grandfather passed away in march so my gran is now in an old folks home and it's upsetting to see how they deteriorate in these places.

Thats why my father myself my OH and my 2 boys/her great grandchildren visit as often as possible,in fact i was only there this morning.

Point being...if she had'nt had kids in the first place then none of us would be around to visit...ie,she would be alone.
