Back on topic.
I quite fancy a bimble up to and around the lake district also. Never been to that part of the country. Lakes and then GM3........ **can't find the strokie beard smilie** |
Re: Plans for next year...
I know a nice little route from the south of the Lakes from Arnside over to Newby Bridge,up the left side of windermere upto Ambleside, then up Kirkstone pass to Penrith, then down the A6 through Kendal and down to Milnthorpe (All depends on where you stay but a nice route)
New to Google maps but here it is. Just shy of 100miles but a nice route http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msa...,0.662613&z=11 |
Re: Plans for next year...
OK its not a riding thing at all and is in central london by the river, but i'd love it if a huge bunch of us could somehow manage a night at this place http://www.medievalbanquet.com/home.php

Re: Plans for next year...
The other thing that came up before was a non biking weekend or night out.
I.e we all meet up somewhere, then go out have a meal and then go get drunk. Never sits well with me having a skinful and then riding the next day... |

Or perhaps make a long weekend of going away and specifically say there's no riding on Sunday, leaving Saturday night to go find the skankiest hookers in all of Porlock?;) |
