Oh FYI it is anglo saxon, and it's the burial of their king Redwold in a long boat with his treasure, found in 1939, so sort of right as it's not Viking, was featured on history channel just now.

Spent NYE there a couple of years ago, a friend's mum loaned a group of us her gorgeous holiday home right opposite the beach so we watched the fireworks and drank champagne by the sea at midnight.
