good engines actually. only problem is you've had the head skimmed. depending on the gasket used you will have a problem in the future. see the heads were case hardened alu so skiming removes some of this and makes them more prone to warping in the future. if it doesnt owe you lots of money you want to be thinking of swapping it.

i ended up replacing my head gasket with the latest LR one to make sure it didnt go in the first place.
