I put a fuel exhaust on my bike when it was 33 bhp. It felt the same, maybe ironed out a little fueling mis-hap at about 4000 rpm. Was lovely and loud compared to standard though

and after all, that what counts

Not sure about that one:confused:
If anything they always run slightly on the rich side. Running lean from factory wouldn't be a good idea. Better to run a slightly rich engine than a lean one.

we fitted a carbon can to my sons curvy after it had been restricted, it didnt go any faster but did it sound good.in all fairness, i was the original owner of it when it wasnt restricted and apart from a decrease in acceleration ,it eventually reached a fair top speed.

I felt no increase in performance when fitted ma new street extreme. (Just like the might org had said ( )

One question i do have though....yeah it sounds great....but cant help thinking it would sound even better without the baffle. Its simple enough to remove, but what would happen if i were to get pulled over without it in?
Cheers

Generally cops dont know bikes, if you get pulled chances are its cos you were being a **** anyway, just be civil, all the "E" markings are there to show its road legal, and if you have to leave before they do just dont tear it away from them :P

simple

Anyone know anybody with an e-mark stamp or someone who can etch an e-mark into a piece of steel? :-D

Wouldn't bother. Police aren't that stupid. If you have a loud can, and its got some dodgy stamp, that shouldn't be there, be prepared for a heftier kick up the ar$e than the original you were going to get.

One of mine is stamped officially but is very loud without baffle(which happens to be in the loft) the other I am prepared to take it on the chin for, and won't polish the words out or stamp with something worse.

So if a copper pulled you over and noticed your baffle was missing, whats he/she likely to do?

Fixed penalty ticket or a vrec (rectification notice) would be issued to you. Have a look in bikes talkes and issues section. Loads and loads about what Police do with race cans and other things like number plates etc
