Re: SV run with no clocks ?

While you need a speedo to pass an MOT it doesn't need to work (although it goes without saying that it should).

I wouldn't advise doing it but you could just tape together the original clocks so they look intact in case you get stopped...

not the flash flash front end though i couldn't aford the £400 ohlins (for just the forks :|) it has standard mount brakes as well but ohh well its different than the standard gsxr mod and should look just as good

You bloody tart, all this and not even a single "are the forks/brakes from these prillas any good?" LOL

Lucky you are heavy, as I think they're pretty stiffly sprung.

 shh i have been trawling the aprilia forums and anoying them with loads of questions, and most seem to like the front suspension

and in deed i am heavy, and they are pretty stiffly sprung.

and im not that much of a tart, i got quoted £850 for a 2002 gixxer 1000 front end i think £435 inc P&P and fitting of my stem, new seals and oil in forks, nearly new rotors is a good deal if you ask me :P

Yes that is bargain.

Those brembo calipers like on duc and cagiva? If so they are great, coated throughout so do not seize up.

and my k3 started up fine with no clocks at all revs and every thing rear wheel spins when in gear to, so i would say it doesn't need the clocks

PS is it law that i have to have clocks? need to test it when i get my front end but wont have clocks until after that

bike looks like this atm

Does that abba stand need specific adaptors for the sv?

Had to laugh at your perfectly preserved crash protectors lol.
