Re: Aftermarket brake disc opinions?
Well let us all know what you find with your new discs. I've never heard of them, but always good to hear of something alternative. The stealth ones on mine came with the bike, but the EBC on the other were the only ones I'd heard of when the OEM ones were shot. Mind you it was a long time ago when I knew feck all difference between the ass and front of a bike!

I hear they have gone under... I had a chain from them... you know what happened. A shame because im all for supporting local produce. Disc's are important. Id advise going for the likes of braking route since they are well regarded. Better be safe than sorry, or worse when it comes to brakes!!! |

Sorry missed that. I think you'll be fine with those. Let me know what you think to them (finish and feel) I might be tempted... |
Re: Aftermarket brake disc opinions?
Yeah I'll do a post upon delivery/fitment and after a few thou miles. I'd hope they're good as I've had a lot of kit from the brand over the years and never had an issue but you never know.

Re: Aftermarket brake disc opinions?
How much cheaper were the Armstrongs Dave? I'm finding for the VFR front discs Armstrong are £125 each, EBC prolite are £135 each and OE are £125 each... So unless you can get them significantly cheaper somewhere I have not found, I'll be going OE.

£170 for pair... Id say that is considerably cheaper. How they can do that? Guess if they are wanting to get their name noticed they start cheap? |
