I had no problems with the mirrors while riding Speedy Claire's bike with the comfort kit installed. 20 miles of twisties, 30 miles of motorway and 4 miles in the city was a good test.

That's actually a very good idea since the new bars a wider and I tend to gauge the width of the bike when filtering by the mirrors. Not to mention my biggest fear of hitting something in the blind spot.

I've placed the order anyway, and now researching some other touring bits like a better screen (MRA Vario anyone?), lower pegs and maybe a gel seat.

I've had this kit fitted for a month or so and it is indeed a superb modification to the Pointy S.

I expected it to make the bike a more relaxed/subdued ride. Not at all, if anything the bike feels like it wants to 'play' everytime I swing my leg over it. The bike is so much more responsive to steering input, it tips into corners beautifully. Being more upright means that your view is so much better. Low speed manouverability is much better too. The only slight downside is a bit of wind blast at high speeds, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, it makes you realise that you are doing license losing speeds.

Nor me on mine and im 6'1".
I would recommend a taller screen though, a high db one as this was the only small downside for me.

Is the kit reversible back to clipons if you don't like it? You dont have to mangle any parts to fit it?

I have ordered a Sargent seat from the USA. It is being delivered on a donkey, but I am assured when it does eventually get here it will be awesome.
